Halloween Countdown Day 1

As in the past two years, I'm participating in the blogosphere's Countdown to Halloween, which this year is being nicely and efficiently organized by John Rozum, Jon K, and Shawn Robare from this site. There are many other great blogs participating this year, so check some of them out!

I'll be throwing in my usual mixture of movies and comics throughout the next 30 days, just like in previous years. My regular features--Blackhawk Wingsdays and the Gil Kane Punch--will still continue, but with some Halloween modifications. The Gil Kane Punch will see the biggest change, as it might be a little light on punches.
